Mike Wreyford

It doesn’t feel like a job when you already enjoy what you’re doing, Mike Wreyford says, and he loves doing anything computer-related. With a solid background in IT end user support, he is always ready to assist and solve computing challenges. Mike is meticulous as well as creative, which make him a great asset for Ascend clients. When he can pull himself away from the computer, he can be found spending time with his family or pursuing other hobbies like carpentry, welding and astronomy.

Judy Wreyford

Detailed, resourceful and trustworthy are adjectives describing Judy Wreyford. Her work at Ascend is multifaceted and behind-the-scenes.

Judy specializes in various aspects of accounting, including financial analysis, budget preparation, accounting controls and general accounting functions. She also has expertise in human resources and office management.

Amber Williams

Amber Williams has translated her experiences as the oldest of three children, and the only daughter, into an approach to leadership that makes her a resourceful problem solver and an energetic personality. She served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a broadcast journalist, public affairs officer and marketing specialist, then focused her education on the quantitative concepts of economics. Her life experience and educational background offer Ascend customers a dynamic set of skills, including journalistic storytelling and analytical thinking . When she’s not diving into a data set or focused on her education, Amber spends time planning her next backpacking adventure.

Adam Williamson

Adam Williamson is skilled at resolving IT problems and challenges with creative solutions. He built that reputation during work stints at Dell, Time Warner Cable (TWC), and Macmillan to name a few. At TWC, for example, Adam helped design and write a network application that monitored 40 million-plus devices. At Macmillan, he designed and wrote a load-test suite that outperformed third party software at a lower price. Adam is particularly skilled at automation (both large and small scales) and process streamlining.When he’s not in front of a computer, Adam is passionate about classic cars (he owns a 1969 Beetle) and music, with tons of other hobbies on “slow rotation.”

Hashsham Usmani

Hashsham Usmani has a skill combination that makes him a valuable asset to our customers. He can communicate effectively with business users, critical for understanding software project requirements, and his development versatility enables him to create applications that are an excellent fit. He spends his time out of the office with his wife and three children and is another potential member of the Ascend cricket team.

Laura Stevenson

Laura has more than 25 years of experience in the advertising and marketing field including corporate roles at Verizon and partnering with a diverse set of companies such as BlueJeans by Verizon, Alkami and SAP. Currently, her primary focus is on helping clients with journey and ABX demand generation strategies, including leveraging and mapping content to support the appropriate sales funnel and customer stages. Especially adept at working across various company resources, Laura stays on top of the latest tools, technologies and industry best-practices to attain next-level marketing effectiveness. With a “plugged in partner” approach, Laura enables and empowers clients to serve up optimized customer experiences through end-to-end marketing services.

Tina Schweiger

Tina Schweiger combines her entrepreneurial spirit with big business know-how to enhance organization’s strategy, branding, and experience design. She provides a fresh perspective to client challenges in any economic sector.

In 2002, Tina founded Yellowfin Design Studio in Austin and spent 12 years designing great brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and mobile interfaces that allow customers to better engage with their favorite businesses. In 2014, her team joined Ascend. Tina has the perfect, fine-tuned blend of business brain and creative brain. An artist at heart, Tina learned to marry her need for expression with her need to make a living. A full scholarship swimmer and Cum Laude graduate from the University of Texas with a BFA in Graphic Design, Tina has spent her career honing her skills as a brand strategist and creative director. Tina’s gift is helping business professionals access their own creative side, build consensus among teams, and bring simplicity to the inherently complex business expression.

Rachel Robertson

Rachel Robertson leads digital production at Ascend. Known for her responsiveness and great organizational skills, we can always count on her to get the job done.

Her strengths include client management, email marketing implementation, business analytics and reporting. She has worked with a variety of email platforms and she is an Adobe Certified Expert. Rachel studied at Angelo State University, has two sons and enjoys the flexibility offered at Ascend, in order to balance working and being a mom. She enjoys pursuing outdoor activities with her family, such as fishing, camping and swimming. Rachel has even dived in a shark cage in Hawaii!

Nathan Procknow

Nathan Procknow joins the Ascend team with over 15 years of experience in design and art direction. He has great attention to detail and can lift a company’s brand presence with his exquisitely crafted work. Having forgone speech almost entirely, he prefers to reserve his communication skills for our clients. Nathan has provided a creative touch to SMU, Verizon and Superior Energy. Nathan currently resides in Kyle, Texas with a wife who is out of his league and three children who are out of their minds.

Stephanie Perks

A well-rounded individual, Stephanie Perks brings together a civil engineering education with experience in sales and analytics, and has connected all of it with a passion for marketing – enabling organizations to succeed through her unique perspective.

With such a broad background, Stephanie understands how marketing’s influence can impact the rest of the organization, providing operational alignment and project management expertise to execute the most important programs flawlessly.
