For Amber Williams, her unofficial leadership role as the oldest of three children, and the only daughter, helped shape the professional leadership approach that makes her a resourceful problem-solver and she has a diverse set of experiences, which include roles she held during her eight-year tenure in the U.S. Marine Corps, including positions as a broadcast journalist, a public affairs officer, and as a marketing specialist. Her wide-reaching skillset was further expanded when she then focused her education on the quantitative concepts of economics, As a result of her life experience and educational background, Amber is uniquely equipped with valuable skills in storytelling and analytical thinking, merging her journalistic expertise with quantitative concepts for an approach that benefits Ascend’s projects and client-partners.
When she’s not in a deep-dive on a data set or focusing on education, Amber spends time backpacking and planning her next big adventure.
