Digital Marketing Specialist
Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist role will research, strategize, implement, and collaborate on digital marketing technologies to support marketing stakeholders and clients. Other responsibilities include martech automation, CRM, web content management, and data analytics. Be ready to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, pay attention to detail, meet compliance standards, achieve marketing campaign goals, strive for excellence, and implement tactics to meet consumers where they are in the customer journey.
You will work with some of the most talented and experienced marketing professionals supporting some of the largest and leading global marketing organizations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide marketing automation and complex data strategy support to Marketing and Data/Insights teams
- Utilize digital marketing tools to create and maintain audiences, data extensions and update subscriber lists and create segmentation groups
- Develop relevant reports and dashboards
- Support digital marketing platform reports and dashboards, customized objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows and validations
- Monitor and analyze complex data sets for quality and integrity
- Manage data migrations and data integrations
- Optimize solutions for data utilization
- Collaborate and train other team members
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, information technology, computer science or related field; 1-3 years of experience in marketing technology or digital marketing
- Admin or expert level certifications plus 1-3 years of experience in marketing automation and/or CRM platform tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot and Adobe
- Experience in developing and optimizing Web Metrics with use of Web Analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Programming and coding languages such as HTML, CSS, SQL, Java, R and Python
- Experience creating and maintaining web content across CMS platforms such as WordPress (FTP experience is a plus)
- Experience with project and document management tools such as Google Drive and SharePoint
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to variety of audiences
- Ability to translate marketing strategies into technical build requirements to deliver automated tactics
- Must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency
- Strong independent project management skills
- Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
- Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion
- Excellent attention to detail
